Gelli de Belen Shares Old Photo W/ Friends Carmina Villaroel, Ogie Alcasid
GELLI DE BELEN – Filipina actress Gelli de Belen shared a throwback photo with friends and fellow actors Ogie Alcasid and Carmina Villaroel.
Anna Gianelli Yap de Belen, more popularly known as Gelli De Belen is an actress and a former child star. She is the younger sister of actress and tv host Janice de Belen.
She has starred in numerous tv shows on ABS-CBN and GMA-7. She starred with her husband Ariel Rivera in the movie “Ikaw Pala Ang Mahal Ko” under Star Cinema.
Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen have been married for more than 20 years. They have two sons Juaquin Andres and Julio Alessandro. Last December, the celebrity couple flew to Canada to be with their sons.

In a post on her Instagram account last January 16, Gelli de Belen unearthed a lovely photo with her friends and fellow actors Ogie Alcasid and Carmina Villaroel. The photo was taken in 1992 back when the three were part of a comedy show. She tagged both Ogie and Carmina.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Found this photo from 1992. Kumusta naman ang throwback na ito @mina_villarroel and @ogiealcasid????”
Carmina Villarroel responded to Gelli in the comments section of the post. She wrote, “Awwww. Miss you @gellidebelen and @ogiealcasid.”
Ogie Alcasid also responded in the comments. He said “OMG.”
Their photo was taken back when they were part of ABC-5 (now called TV5) comedy sketch show “Tropang Tumpo.” The show aired from 1994 to 1999. Alcasid was part of the program until 1995 while Villaroel and de Belen stayed until the full run.
