Chef Jordan Andino Teaches Selena Gomez How to Cook Adobo
SELENA GOMEZ – International pop star Selena Gomez made a beloved Pinoy dish adobo with chef Jordan Andino for her cooking show.
American singer-actress Selena Gomez rose to fame after playing the role of Alex Russo in Disney’s fantasy teen sitcom “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Some of her hit songs are “Hands To Myself,” “Fetish,” and “Lose You To Love Me.”
Last year, the 28-year-old superstar trended when she reposted the “Ice Cream” dance cover of the Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza. It is her collab song with the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK.
Recently, HBO Max released the official trailer for the second season of “Selena + Chef.” The video shows the International pop star preparing the Filipino dish adobo.
Selena was able to cook the food with the help of the Filipino-American celebrity chef Jordan Andino. He is the owner of the Filipino Taqueria, Flip Sigi in New York City.

Chef Jordan Andino’s grandmother was asked to judge Selena Gomez’s adobo. “How do you think it looks?” Selena asked.
Jordan’s grandma casually replied with “It’s okay,” causing Selena and her friends to burst into laughter.
The Pinoy chef went on to assure the singer: “That was incredible”
In the teaser, the logo of one of the ingredients the pop star used, Datu Puti vinegar, can be seen. It is a popular Pinoy brand of vinegar and soy sauce used in cooking adobo.
