1st Anniversary Of Taal Volcano Eruption On January 2020
TAAL VOLCANO – Today marks the first anniversary of the eruption of Taal Volcano, which occurred last year 2020.
It has been remembered that the volcano spewed fountains of lava and came along with thunder and flashes of lightning. The province of Batangas was placed under the state of calamity the next day, prompting thousands to pack up their things and evacuate.

The eruption was also reported to be among the three eruptions occurred worldwide in a span of three days, with the other two from Mt. Shintake in Japan and Popocatepetl in Mexico.

Recently, the said volcano, known for its lake, which was expelled from the said eruption, was among the top trending on Twitter, as of this writing, as several netizens remembered the terrifying event, fearing that another might happen again.
Netizen @AllyNgAlciano remembered that she was attending The Killer Bride Mall Show event when she saw the ashes falling as she stepped out of the mall.
Another netizen with the username @hannamyka_, feared that the volcano might erupt once more, hoping that it will not happen.
@ely_arrmmmyyy said that it felt like it happened yesterday, adding that the eruption was the start of the nightmare in the year 2020.
