10 People Caught For COVID-19 Protocol Violation In Lucena City
LUCENA CITY – Ten people were recently apprehended in Lucena City, Quezon for violating COVID-19 safety protocols.
They were apprehended by the police mobile patrol team while the former were playing skateboards without wearing face masks, face shields, and not observing physical distancing in Barangay 3 at around 6 PM, according to a report from Inquirer.
When cops approached the skateboarders and ordered them to put on the safety masks and shields, two of them identified as twins John Misak and John Jonas Atienza, 18 years of age, allegedly resisted arrest and yelled at the police.
John Misak reportedly hit Police Executive Master Sergeant Allan Ocampo on the back with his skateboard, while the rest mocked the cops.
They were eventually arrested and brought to the police station for the filing of charges, based on the report.
At the same time live-in partners were arrested in a sting operation there after they were reportedly pushing illegal drugs.

They were identified under the alias “Dagie”, aged 38 years, and “Russel”, aged 30. They sold one sachet of drugs to a police poseur buyer.
Recovered from them were 17 sachet of suspected drugs, which weighed 26.3 grams and a street value of about P530,000.
