Live-In Partners Who Are Suspected Drug Pushers Nabbed In Lucena City
LUCENA CITY – Live-in partners were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Lucena City, Quezon after they were alleged to be drug pushers.
The Quezon Police Provincial Office reported that the two were arrested in their residence in Barangay Mayao Crossing. They were identified under the alias “Dagie”, aged 38 years, and “Russel”, aged 30.
The local and provincial police conducted a sting operation after they received a tip from complainants that the two were selling drugs.
The suspects sold one sachet of drugs to a police poseur buyer and a confidential informant from ‘Dagie’. This led to their eventual arrest.
Recovered from them were 17 sachet of suspected drugs, weighing 26.3 grams and a street value of about P530,000.
Based on the report, the suspects will face charges for violating Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
