Nadine Lustre Speaks About Experiences Amid Lockdown
NADINE LUSTRE – The young Kapamilya star admitted that she got to the point where she was worried over the projects for her.
Undeniably, the COVID-19 pandemic brought a lot of changes to the lives of the people. Even the showbiz celebrities who are among the busiest people on earth have to remain at home as lockdowns are implemented.
Staying at home is very uncommon thing for most celebrities considering their busy schedules. They turn nights into days for taping and can hardly get a huge amount of time for themselves.
Amid the pandemic, while it gave them time to rest, it also sparked worries and anxiousness to some celebrities – including young Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre.
Speaking to entrepreneur and motoring expert Angie Mead King, Nadine Lustre admitted getting to the point of worrying for not having many projects. She was anxious that she will also become a “has been” in the showbiz industry.
“I just came from months of stress, pressure, and all that. I wasn’t getting as much projects. So I [I didn’t have] much work. I was really struggling,” the actress revealed.

Meanwhile, the time to stay at home also brought something good for Nadine. It gave her time to think about what she really wants. She would usually have a conversation with herself telling her not to rush.
“If I don’t have projects, then that’s fine I’ll do something else. It’s not that my life is dependent on that,” the actress realized.
During their conversation, Nadine Lustre stressed that the last five years, she had no time to think due to non-stop work. According to her, she lost herself in the process and she reached the point that she did not know anymore who she is and what she wants.
Nadine believes that the recent happenings gave people the time “to look inside”. She stressed her realization that she must not look for validation outside and just do what she wants to do.
