Battered Husband Seeks Police Help After Being Stabbed by His Wife
BATTERED HUSBAND – A man in Calasiao, Pangasinan seeks help from police after his abusive wife beat him and stabbed him in his butt cheeks.
A 56-year-old husband went to the Calasiao, Pangasinan police station to complain about his wife allegedly beating him and stabbed him in the butt. The victim, who hid under the name “Raynaldo”, said that his wife, who hid under the name “Sonia,” always hurt him.
According to the report of GMA News, the victim complained that he had been hurt by his wife for a long time and even they confronted and settle their problem in the barangay, his life was still threatened.
“Nag-usap nga kami sa barangay tapos ayaw paawat. Sabi pa nga sa barangay, ‘Papatayin kita, hindi kita hihintuan habang nabubuhay ka,” Reynaldo said.

He also said that every time he returned home, a knife is always ready to use against him. He further said that his wife hurts their children when they disobey their mother.
“Yung mga anak kapag nagsusuway sila, sila ang sasaktan kaya hindi na sila umiimik,” said Raynaldo.
However, Sonia strongly denied the husband’s accusation and said that she was just angry when he saw Raynaldo with another woman. She also said that she will not be able to stab her husband.
“Nag-aaway kami kasi may dahilan siya. Pero iyang sinasabi niyang sinusugatan ko, binubugbog ko siya lagi, ‘di meron sana siyang ebidensiya,” Sonia explained.
“Lalaki siya bubugbugin ko siya? Eh siya ang nagkasala,” she added.
Raynaldo, on the other hand, denied that he was a woman and now he was determined to sue his wife. According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Ferdinand de Asis, chief of the Calasiao Police Station, because there is no law yet to protect men who are hurt by their wives, Raynaldo will only file a physical injury complaint.
