PAGASA – Trough Of LPA To Bring Scattered Rains Over Parts Of PH This December 29, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 29, 2020 (Tuesday).
The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Tail – End of Frontal System is affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon while the trough or extension of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) will be affecting Mindanao on this day.
Acoording to GMA News, teh northeast monsoon or amihan will brinf cloudy skies with scattered rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
On the other hand, the Tail-End of Frontal System will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the rest of Cagayan Valley and Aurora. Flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate with occasionally heavy rains.
The trough of LPA, which is currently outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Kalayaan Islands. Flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate with occasionally heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, Northern Luzon, the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds that are moving in the southeast to northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
The Visayan region and the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
