3 Dog Trader in Nueva Ecija Arrested After Caught Illegal Roasting of Dogs
Three (3) dog trader man arrested in an illegal slaughterhouse of dogs in Laur, Nueva Ecija after they were caught during their roasting of dogs.
In a report of GMA New, authorities arrived at the slaughterhouse with dogs being roasted. It was said that the authorities in the raided area also found the equipment used for slaughtering the dogs and for roasting.
The three will face violations of the Animal Welfare Act of 1998 and the Anti Rabies Act. The detainees did not give a statement after the arrest.

The recovered dead dogs were taken to the Animal Kingdom Foundation office. There is a law in the Philippines for abused animals, RA8485: THE ANIMAL WELFARE ACT OF 1998.
Any person involved in harming, killing, and torture, any animals will be prosecuted and will be liable to specific punishments. Nueva Ecija has been reported for several dog slaughtering in the area.
Animals are living creatures with emotions, feelings, and own characteristics similar to the humans who also need love, care, respect, and concern.
