PAGASA – TEFS To Bring Rains Over Northern Luzon This December 22, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 22, 2020 (Tuesday).

The 4 AM public weather forecast from the state bureau says that the tail-end of a frontal system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over several provinces in northern Luzon.

According to GMA News, the said Luzon provinces that are affected by TEFS are Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Kalinga, Apayao and Ilocos Norte. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during moderate to heavy rains.

The easterlies, on the other hand, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol region, Aurora, Quezon and Kalayaan Islands. Again, the bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Based on the report, the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains in Batanes, Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The sun has risen at about 6:17 AM while the sun is expected to set at about 5:33 PM.
