Roque “Sounds Like A Virus” – Thai Enquirer Responds To Comment About Roque
ROQUE “SOUNDS LIKE A VIRUS” – Recently, Harry Roque went viral yet again after the “Thai Enquirer” posted a gif featuring the Presidential Spokesperson.
In a Tweet, the Thai Enquirer reminded the public to follow health protocols such as washing hands, wearing masks and adhering to social distancing. Furthermore, to emphasize their message, they posted a gif of Harry Roque.
Meanwhile, upon hearing the news, Roque said that this only proved that the Philippines’ virus response was effective. However, the Thai Enquirer themselves admitted that they had no idea who Roque was. Instead, they said that they chose Roque because he is “round and Asian”.
But, scrolling down the Twitter Thread, many Filipinos were wondering exactly what they searched to find this gif of the Presidential Spokesperson. Luckily, Thai Enquirer responded to one of these comments saying they used the keywords: “Virus. Warning. Asian. Fat.”
Afterward, another Twitter Netizen called Roque “A guy with no principles” and an “opportunist”. As a response, the Thai Enquirer said Roque “sounds like a virus”. Additionally, he said that we should all “Wash our hands” and “not get infected by Roque”.
