Petroleum Products Price Hike To Be Implemented On December 22, 2020

PETROLEUM PRODUCTS – Several oil firms have announced that will implement price hikes in petroleum products on December 22, 2020.

According to a report from GMA News, the Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said in its advisory that it will increase the prices of gasoline by P0.75 per liter, diesel by P0.80 per liter, and kerosene by P0.80 per liter.

The said changes is expected to take effect at 6:00 AM on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Other firms are yet to make similar announcements.

The latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) shows that year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P2.72 per liter for gasoline, P6.76 per liter for diesel, and P10.04 per liter for kerosene as of December 15, based on the report.

The previously reported price change was on November 30, 2020. That time, the price of diesel increased by P1.10 per liter, P1.15 per liter for the price of gasoline, and P1.10 for the price of kerosene.
