Former Nat’l Security Adviser Tells Trump To Use Military To Force Election Rerun
USE MILITARY TO FORCE RERUN – Former National Security Adviser General Michael Flynn said Martial law can be utilized to force an election rerun.
Furthermore, he stated that this preventative measure to block president-elect Joe Biden would not be “unprecedented” and “within Trump’s power”.
However, several controversial issues still surround Flynn. According to an article from Unilad, the former adviser was convicted for lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Back in 2016, Flynn was questioned regarding the interference of Russians in the 2016 US presidential elections. But, after being convicted, President Donald Trump gave Flynn a pardon.
Meanwhile, following Biden’s projected victory in the presidential race, Flynn stated that: “There is no way in the world we are going to be able to move forward as a nation“.
Moreover, he mentioned the conspiracy that voter software was being tampered with. Still, several lawsuits into the conspiracy and Trump’s camp had yet to provide any concrete proof of their claims.
Still, according to Flynn, Trump could “immediately, on his order, seize every single one of these machines”. As per the article, Flynn mentioned that within the swing states, Trump could “take military capabilities, and he could place those in states and basically rerun an election in each of those states“.
He added that this act would not be unprecedented. Flynn explained that Martial Law had already been done 64 times in the history of the United States. Along with this, he said that there’s a constitutional process that needs to be followed.
However, Martial Law has yet to be used by a US president to hold a new election.
