Supreme Court Rejects Trump Lawsuit To Upend Election Results

SUPREME COURT REJECTS TRUMP – Once again, the Supreme Court rejected a long-shot lawsuit backed by U.S. President Donald Trump seeking to upend the election results.

After results for the U.S. election projected former Vice President Joe Biden as the winner, Trump pushed the narrative that he had won by a landslide and that there was massive voter fraud across the states.

As such, Trump and his lawyers sought out lawsuit after lawsuit only to come up short. Recently, the Supreme Court rejected one of these lawsuits, this time, filed by Texas and backed by the current President.

Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another state conducts its elections“, said the Court.

Meanwhile, according to an article from Reuters, the Court would’ve allowed Texas to sue. However, it emphasized that it would not block the four states from cementing their election results.

On the other hand, Biden’s camp said that it was “no surprise” that the Supreme Court rejected Trump’s “baseless attempts” to deny his defeat in the elections.

Everyday, Trump’s social media account constantly bombard its followers with the narrative that he had won the election. However, even with the numerous lawsuits filed, Trump’s camp still failed to provide concrete evidence for their claims.
