Jewelry company on making Jessy Mendiola Ring: ‘Both privilege and challenge’
Jessy Mendiola Ring – Here is the official statement of Manila Diamond Studio on the engagement ring of the Fit For Life host.
Following the controversy that came along with the engagement announcement of Jessy and her now-fiance Luis Manzano, the actress-host addressed the issue through her vlog.
She revealed that a friend from Radiant Lux Jewelry whom she trusted ruined the supposed first marriage proposal of Luis. However, actress Ynna Asistio who is working at the company that first made the engagement ring of Jessy contradicted what the latter said in her vlog.
Ynna even highlighted “credibility” in her post as she shared the testimony of her sister whose engagement ring was also made by Radiant. For Jessy’s part, it is time to move forward and cling to her positivity as engagement should be a happy event.

On December 16, Manila Diamond Studio released its official statement on Jessy Mendiola Ring. The said company collaborated with the actress-host for her second engagement ring.
MDS stressed that the ring that Luis gave to Jessy during his proposal in Amanpulo is the product of the company’s craftsmanship and the heart and inspiration of the actress while the centerpiece diamond was “commissioned, purchased, and fully paid by Mr. Manzano.”
The company also stated that the band and the setting of the diamond are original. “The originality of the actual engagement ring is undeniable in the published photographs and videos,” the statement said.
