PAGASA – TEFS To Bring Cloudy Skies, Scattered Rains Over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas This December 16, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 16, 2020 (Wednesday).

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Tail – End of a Frontal System will affect the eastern section of southern Luzon while the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect the rest of Luzon on this day.

According to a report from GMA News, the TEFS will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora and Quezon. Again, flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to amihan.

The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the forecast wind speed, Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds that are moving northeastward while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction while facing light to moderate coastal waters.
