Cebu Police Ctiticized Over “Arrestoguinaldo” Prank

CEBU POLICE – The “arrestoguinaldo” that was conducted by the Cebu Police and Philippine Air Force during holiday season drew flak.

The prank involved the cops and Air Force personnel seemingly ‘arrest’ the unsuspecting individuals but later give them Christmas gifts, according to SunStar.

This got criticized on social media for being a ‘bad joke’ especially at the time of pandemic, as well as the time when some police sectors have been accused of human rights violations.

The news posted this report on Facebook a day ago, which currently received 4.3K reactions, mostly angry, like, and haha reacts, and 1.6K shares. You can check it right here.
