Turkey Stolen From Private Zoo In Riga, Latvia, Three Suspects Arrested

PRIVATE ZOO IN RIGA – Three man were recently arrested for stealing a turkey in a private zoo in Riga, Latvia and forcing it to drink vodka.

The incident occurred in a private zoo in the Latvian capital, where a CCTV footage shows that three men, with ages ranging from 30 to 40, were behind the robbery of the turkey and packed it in a black bag, according to a report from ABS-CBN News.

The culprits then took the bird to a seaside resort named Jurmala. Upon reaching the Bulduri train station, they immediately head to the beach to drink. They also forced the bird to drink vodka.

They were eventually arrested by cops who happened to spot them with the turkey. They will be charged for burglary and trespassing. The bird was rendered safe. However, it seemed to be in a hangover, based on the report.

“One of the suspects was celebrating his 34th birthday and the other two decided to celebrate it this way,”

“Now the trio will face criminal charges for burglary and trespassing in an organized group,” 

The three suspects were previously charged for other violations.
