SpaceX Rocket Explodes During Crash Landing After Failing To Slow Down Descent
SPACEX ROCKET EXPLODES – Following several successful trials, Elon Musk’s dream rocket flew several miles high. Unfortunately, things weren’t as smooth when it came to its landing.
During SpaceX‘s live broadcast, it showed ruined remains of its rocket, Starship in their test site in southern Texas. After a successful launch, there were cheers all around, the screen of the broadcast room read “Awesome test” across it and “Congratulations Starship team!”.
However, the narrative quickly changed as the as the late afternoon brought about the orange sun preparing to set. As it was descending back to the earth, the rocket fired three engines in an attempt to slow it down. Sadly, it wasn’t enough.
Upon impact to the ground, the rocket quickly burst into a ball of flames leaving trails of dark smoke rising from the testing facility. Still, this test proved to be an advancement in SpaceX’s development. Previously, the earlier prototypes for SpaceX’s rockets didn’t even get the chance to take off.
But, even with Musk and his teams’ progress, many are still skeptical about his claims of the company being a few years away from sending a Starship rocket to Marks. Moreover, he repeatedly set timelines for SpaceX that turned out more optimistic than realistic according to some.
Here is the complete video of the unfortunate crash:
