Netizens praise a man who was mistaken as an evildoer first but after what he did to the couple who needs help he received lots of support.
Recently, a netizen shared a generous act from a stranger who was mistaken as an evildoer. According to the post of Inquirer, a couple who rides a motorcycle along Shaw Boulevard encounter a mechanical problem.
According to the couple from Cavite province, they were riding their motorcycle to deliver their product, when it broke down along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City. As they stepped aside to fix it, a strange man surrounded them.
“Umaaligid-aligid sa amin… pasindi-sindi ng sigarilyo… palakad-lakad. By that time, binubuksan na ng asawa ko yung harapan ng motor at bakas na ang nerbiyos,” the couple shared.
Eventually, the man could no longer stand it. He approached them and introduced himself as Ferdinand Pulido. It kindly helped them with the mechanical repairs.

He allegedly works at an auto shop in Leyte province and ventures to Manila. Unfortunately, he got stranded and no place to stay after the implementation of lockdown due to the pandemic.
The couple called on the owners of the auto shop to help Ferdinand find a job. It was immediately read by a group called “Quarantine Tribute Tips” and did not hesitate to extend help to him on December 6, 2020, Sunday.
“Nag-usap kami na food na lang daw po ang kailangan niya kasi hindi na raw muna siya tutuloy umuwi ng Leyte kasi wala rin daw hanapbuhay doon, iniisip niya yung pang araw-araw ng 3 little girls niya kung uuwi siya na walang trabaho,” salaysay ni Ayla Conda sa Facebook group.
Ferdinand now has a job in Quezon City. Aside from the food, the group also provided money to Ferdinand, half of which was sent to Leyte for his family. For those who want to extend help to Ferdinand, just find Ayla Conda’s Facebook account and contact her.
