PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 7, 2020 (Monday).

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting Northern Luzon and will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region on this day.

According to a report from GMA News, the bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas, especieally during moderate to heavy rains.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region.

Meanwhile, the easterlies or winds from the east will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Visayas, Bicol Region, Calabarzon, MIMAROPA and Aurora. The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, Northern, Central, and Southern Luzon will face moderate to rough coastal waters while Visayas and Mindanao will face slight to moderate coastal waters.
