Karen Reyes Speak Up for Keeping Her Children for a Long Time
Former PBB housemate Karen Reyes speak up about the story behind why she hides her two (2) children for a very long time.
Karen Reyes recently became a guest on “Magandang Buhay,” where she can’t help but to be emotional when she revealed to the story about her not immediately admitting to the public that she two children.
The Pinoy Big Brother alum recalled the moment when she decided to introduce her two kids with her partner, Silent Sanctuary vocalist Sarkie Sarangay to the public. The 23-year-old actress gave birth to her eldest child Olivia on June 16, 2017, then gave birth to her baby Lucas on July 28 last year.
“Actually noong nag-quarantine tayo, na-chika ko sa jowa ko na nalulungkot ako ganyan. Tapos sabi niya sa akin, ‘Bakit?’ Sabi ko, ‘Parang may kulang sa akin.’ Marami akong struggle sa mahabang panahon pero mas pinili ko lang talaga na balikan lang din talaga kung sino ako. Until one day parang nagising na lang ako na parang sobrang saya lang. Ang saya-saya ko lang,” she shared.

Karen also said she did not regret that she kept her children secret because she did not want it. After she revealed to the public about her family, Karen felt a different joy as a mother.
“Ang sarap! Siyempre mommy na tayo, ang sarap may kakuwentuhan na nakaka-relate sa iyo. Hindi ko ine-expect ‘yung pagtanggap nila sa akin na ganyan din sila, maagang nagbuntis tapos takot na takot din sila sa magulang nila. Sobrang naka-relate sila roon sa takot na sinasabi ko,” she shared.
Karen Reyes revealed that she got pregnant with her first child while filming “My Ex and Whys” starred by Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. And now, Karen is happily sharing photos of her family on her social media accounts.
