Alexa Ilacad talked about her role as the young Bea Alonzo
In the movie Four Sisters and a Wedding, Bea Alonzo played the character of Bobbie Salazar and for its prequel, Alexa Ilacad is playing that part.
Four Sister Before The Wedding journeyed into the life of the four main characters and the people around them when they were younger. For Alexa, playing the role of Bobbie is very important for her.
She felt that being part of this project will boost her career, aside from the fact that she really loves the first movie. Alexa is also thankful to director Mae Cruz Alviar who helped her with her role as well as her co-stars in the movie, based on the article from Bandera.
Alexa Ilacad also admitted that she felt pressured playing the role that Bea Alonzo also played. Even Direk Mae said that the pressure is really there as the first movie was a big hit and is still being remembered by movie fans.
“Perfectly portrayed by Ms. Bea and so yes the pressure is intense! It was so intense, I was so scared, sometimes I would think, ‘did I do the right choice of accepting this? Will I be able to give justice?’” Alexa said.
However, the young actress said that she turned that pressure into positivity through the help of the production staff. With this, she hopes that her performance will make Bea Alonzo proud.
Four Sisters Before The Wedding also features Charlie Dizon, Gillian Vicencio, and Belle Mariano. The movie is set to be released on December 11 via KTX.ph, iWantTFC, TFC IPTV, Cignal PPV, and Sky Cable pay-per-view.
