Sojina Jaya Crisostomo Jamir Garcia’s Partner Prays for Release of Singer’s Latest Music Recordings
Jamir Garcia’s partner is wishing for the release of Slapshock’s singer latest song recordings to honor his legacy.
Last week, the death of Slapshock’s frontman Jamir Garcia has been one of the most trending topics online. The topic also becomes the headlines of several local news outlets and social media pages.
Garcia’s demise saddened thousands of Filipino fans and supporters. A lot of artists, celebrities, and other popular personalities in the country have expressed their condolences to the singer’s family.
The rock singer’s body is set to be cremated on Tuesday (December 1, 2020) following his two-day wake at St. Peter Memorial Homes in Quezon City.
Jamir’s partner Sojina Jaya Crisostomo said that the singer’s ashes will be kept first at his home in Project 8, Quezon City before his father’s arrival from the United States. She also expressed her gratefulness towards those who grieve with them.

Crisostomo also prays that her partner’s latest music recordings will be released sooner or later. Jamir reportedly recorded his latest sings during the pandemic. Sojina left the decision to the other band members.
“Kung ako lang ang masusunod, dapat ma-release na ‘yon kasi pinaghirapan niya ‘yon nung lockdown. Ipapaubaya ko na lang ‘yung desisyon sa dalawang naiwang band members,” Crisostomo said.
The vocalist reportedly left at least six recordings of his music with other members of Slapshock before disbanding due to financial issues.
