Trump Separates From Lawyer Powell Who Claimed Voter Fraud Without Evidence
TRUMP SEPARATES FROM LAWYER – U.S. President Donald Trump and his campaign are parting ways with Sidney Powell.
Since Biden’s projected presidency win through electoral votes, Trump and his team were adamant that there were anomalies with the votes. Furthermore, during a press conference on Thursday, Powell made a baseless allegation of voter fraud.
Following this, Trump’s legal team consisting of Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis said: “Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own… She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team”.
According to an article from Inquirer, the announcement was made after a judge dismissed a lawsuit to halt Joe Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania. Similarly, Trump also claimed that he had won Georgia, however, officials from the state said otherwise.
Previously, Trump said Powell was part of his “truly great team”. In a Tweet he made on November 14, the current President said: “Rudy Giuliani, Joseph diGenova, Victoria Toensing, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis, a truly great team, added to our other wonderful lawyers and representatives“.
However, Powell, armed with no evidence said the electronic voting system switched millions of ballots to Biden. As such, several big names in media such as Fox’s Tucker Carlson criticized the lawyer for her baseless claims.

She never demonstrated that a single actual vote was moved illegitimately by software from one candidate to another. Not one.
Currently, Powell decided to represent Trump’s recently-fired national security adviser, Michael Flynn. Moreover, Flynn is trying to iron-out long-running criminal charges against him.
