British Nurse Charged With Deaths Of Eight Babies

BRITISH NURSE – A British nurse was recently charged by Chester cops with eight counts of murder and ten of attempted murder against babies.

The nurse, identified as Lucy Letby, 30 years of age, was arrested and charged with the said crimes once prosecutors gave the go-ahead, according to a report from Cebu Daily News.

The charges are associated with a number of baby deaths and non-fatal collapses which occurred at a neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.

Letby is currently held in custody ahead of a first appearance before magistrates in nearby Warrington on Thursday. The nurse had been arrested but released without charge in 2018 and 2019, based on the report.

In a separate murder report, a chairperson from Gabriela Bicol was arrested in Nabua, Camarines Sur for murder.

This was associated with an encounter in Barangay Salvacion, Ragay town on May 13, 2018, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers/

Her spouse, claimed that the case against her was without basis and impossible since she was giving birth to their youngest child and it was election day.

Nagrampa won as a barangay kagawad. Caballero further said that the resolution of the said case was unresolved.
