Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo guested on Eat Bulaga and actor-host Alden Richards was caught staring at her which created speculations.
Days after she won the most prestigious beauty pageant title in the Philippines, Rabiya started to have TV appearances. One of her first stints on TV was her guesting on the longest-running noontime show in the country.
Rabiya played as the guest judge on the popular segment Bawal Judgmental. It was a fun episode with the Dabarkads but there were intrigues that were brought up. It is because Alden Richards was caught staring at Rabiya Mateo.
Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, fans of the Pambansang Bae answered the negative speculations against him. It was said that Alden was accused of trying to induced “kilig” during the guesting of Rabiya on Eat Bulaga.
Reportedly, Alden’s fans defended that there was nothing wrong on the way how the actor-host looked at the beauty queen as it was also a given factor that other hosts were also looking at her.
It was said that it just so happened that a photo was taken showing that Alden was staring at Rabiya. Because of that photo, reportedly, there were netizens who said that this might be used for the promotion of the upcoming virtual concert of Alden Richards which is set to happen on December 8.
Meanwhile, Rabiya Mateo admitted in a guesting on It’s Showtime, the Kapamilya noontime show, that she really idolize Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.
She shared that she really memorizes the song of Sarah and tries to sing them. The beauty queen from Iloilo City even requested to Sarah to have a performance with her.
