PAGASA – Signal No. 1 Lifted, Rolly Continues To Cross West PH Sea
PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA said that Rolly maintained its strength as it heads westward towards the West Philippine Sea

The weather bureau said in its recent bulletin that Rolly is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility while Areas under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 are lifted.
According to GMA News, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the northern portions of mainland Cagayan and Zambales will still face occasional gusts.
The center of Rolly was last seen at about 195 kilometers west of Subic, Zambales as of 10 AM.
Based on the report, Rolly pounded the country on Sunday as it brought catastrophic winds and intense rains that flooded villages, urging thousands of people to flee from their homes.
Rolly made landfall at 4:50 AM Sunday in Bato, Catanduanes then slightly changed its course and made a second landfall in Tiwi, Albay, at 7:20 AM.
About 10 people were killed due to the storm, which is currently the strongest typhoon to hit the Philippines this year.
