Netizens on Twitter talked about Juris Fernandez
Singer Juris Fernandez became one of the top Twitter trends on October 31, Saturday as netizens expressed that they are glad she left the band MYMP.
The said band was launched in the early 2000s and Juris was the vocalist. For several years, the acoustic band soared high with several shows and concerts as well as album launches.
However, Juris decided to leave the band and reportedly her reason was “irreconcilable differences”. On the latter part of 2009, she was launched as a solo artist by Star Music.
Netizens recalled that decision that Juris Fernandez made more than a decade ago. Many Twitter users expressed that they are just glad she left the band. It is because of the recent statement of Chin Alcantara of MYMP. He debunked the idea of “Black Lives Matter” and said it is “kalokohan”.
Because of this, he received a massive amount of bashing on the micro-blogging social media platform. As MYMP became a trending topic on Twitter, the name of Juris also trended.
Many netizens said that the female singer was right when she left the acoustic band while some were shocked that MYMP still exists. There were also those who said that the band already met its downfall on the day Juris Fernandez left.

Meanwhile, MYMP went controversial a few months ago when Chin Alcantara said “na-Daryl Ong kami”. He claimed that ABS-CBN also banned them, just like what allegedly happened to Daryl Ong.
Chin said that they were told that they are no longer allowed to appear on ASAP and they had no idea what was the reason behind that order.
