Pia Wurtzbach shared her realization amid the pandemic
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared that she is now embracing a simpler life amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pia, just like other celebrities, had to slow down when the lockdown was implemented. As many industries are now coping with the new normal, which is far different from most people’s routine before, the beauty queen also had to go with the flow.
In the recent episode of her digital talk show “Queentuhan” with Mutya ng Pilipinas Intercontinental 2010 Carla Janina Lizardo and Bb Pilipinas International 2014 Bianca Guidotti, Pia Wurtzbach shared that she had the chance to rediscover herself.
Through this, she was able to assess what are the things that are really important in her life.
“What are the things that really make me happy, now that I don’t have all of this work to distract me. In some ways, we were forced to really sit back, ano ba yung importante talaga sa buhay, and I realized it’s family,” she said.
Pia also appreciates that she is able to connect with her family and loved ones although they can’t be together physically.
“Hindi yung…ako personally, hindi na masyado yung glitz and glamour. Para sa akin, ang saya ko na, grateful ako na healthy ako, grateful ako na healthy yung family ko,” the Miss Universe 2015 added.
She also said that simpler things are making her happy and fulfilled nowadays. “Grateful ako na alam mo yung kahit makalabas lang ako nang konti, maramdaman ko yung araw, makainom ako ng kape, masaya na ako,” she shared.
Pia Wurtzbach admitted that she was used to thinking about “big goals” all the time and she forgot other things around her. Amid the pandemic, Pia said that she went back to the basic.
