Remulla Scolds Parlade For Remarks Against Soberano, Isko
REMULLA SCOLDS PARLADE – Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla decries the recent statements of Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr.
According to Remulla, Parlade “should be ashamed of himself” for accusing women’s rights activists such as Liza Soberano and even Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. Recently, Moreno ordered to take down a tarpaulin saying CPP-NPA-NDF are “persona-non-grata” in Metro Manila.
Following this, Parlade quickly called out Moreno for being a “sympathizer” of terrorists. He also added that Yorme should explain himself for his actions.
Parlade’s recent outbursts of accusations led Remulla to speak out against the Lt. Gen. In his Facebook, Remulla said:

Remulla added that he would personally lead the effort to “tear your propaganda posters down”. Along with this, the Cavite Governor said that Parlade could even brand him a communists if he so pleased.
The Cavite Governor emphasized that it was his “sworn duty to defend Cavite’s record in holding the insurgency at bay”. However, he said that his is not a beliver of communisim. He said that it’s a “failed ideology” irrelevant in the modern world.
Finally, he gave a warning to Parlade that if he or any of his men would put up a poster in Cavite that red-tag rights group, it wouldn’t last a day. “Slogans, red-tagging and threats will never prosper nor win”, Remulla said.
