Online Shopper Air Dismay for Receiving 2 Piece of Wood Instead of Gadget
A disappointed online shopper air frustration after victimized by online shopping scam where he did not received his real order.
Recently, Isay Reyes took Twitter to share a scamming incident on an online shopping platform. Ms. Ha allegedly ordered a cellphone from Lazada that she will use in her business.
She even made sure that she selects items carefully at LazMall because she thinks the sellers at Lazada are legitimate and verified. However, ms. Ha was shocked that not a cellphone but two pieces of wood were delivered to her.
She said she did not doubt when the package arrived because it was heavy and well wrapped. But when she opened it, two wooden blocks were found inside the box.
She immediately called the delivery rider who was also surprised by the contents of the box. The courier also offered to return the money paid by the buyer amounting to P4,398.
Even the courier could not believe the incident because he did not expect such incidents especially since he has been delivering for Lazada for a long time.

Meanwhile, Lazada has already contacted Ms. Ha to complain to the seller. She said, “I felt betrayed definitely because as what is written in the LazMall policy they say that it’s 100% authentic but when I received it, I felt scammed and I was shaking.”
Lazada apologized and vowed to investigate the incident. “Lazada is aware of a current order transaction circulating on social media, and we are in contact with the customer to resolve the situation,” said on the statement of the popular online shopping platform.
“We take all feedback seriously and wish to thank the community for bringing this to our attention. Together, we can safeguard a safe online shopping space for everyone,” it added.
