Kathryn Bernardo said this about Daniel Padilla future project
Actress Kathryn Bernardo reacted to the possibility that her love team partner and real-life boyfriend Daniel Padilla will have a new leading lady.
For almost a decade now, Kath and DJ have been together onscreen. For more than half of that span of them, they have been together as real-life sweethearts.
From the time that they paired together as KathNiel, they haven’t been paired to other celebrities onscreen, except in 2019 when Kathryn was paired with Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards for the movie Hello, Love, Goodbye.
The unique tandem of the Kapamilya actress and the actor from GMA was well-accepted by moviegoers. Following that, it was anticipated that Daniel Padilla might also do a project with other leading ladies.
When asked to react to this possibility, Kathryn Bernardo said, “ayokong maging selfish.” Based on the article from Bandera, the actress said that she will not complain or feel angry once the time will come that her boyfriend will be paired with another actress.
“Honestly, ayoko maging selfish na ipagkait given yung opportunity na yun. Kung dumating yung time na may offer sa kanya,” she said during a press conference for their movie series The House Arrest Of Us.
Daniel said that he does not want this to happen in the future but Kathryn answered that he should not close his door with the possibility.
“And kung gusto niya, I will support him and I will respect his decision. So kung paano yung suporta na binigay niya sa akin sa last project ko, ganun din ang ibibigay ko sa kanya,” the actress added.
Kathryn Bernardo also said that she will let Daniel Padilla decide on this matter like what he did for her when she accepted the Hello, Love, Goodbye project.
