Simple Chewy Coconut Macaroons Recipe

Macaroons are probably one of the most iconic delicacies to ever grace the Philippine culinary scene. Back in the day, you would likely see these sold in school canteens or served as during Christmas parties.
So, not only are these things an absolute delight, they’re also quite nostalgic with each taste taking you back one memory at a time. Here’s how you make it:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown
- 3 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups of condensed milk
- 1 3/4 cups of desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup of coconut meat
Procedure:
In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar, preferably in an electric mixer for ease and convenience. Afterward, add in 3 whole eggs and mix the ingredients together. Next, pour in 1 3/4 cups of condensed milk and continue mixing.
Following this, add 1 3/4 cups of desiccated coconut and 1/4 cup of coconut meat. Then, make sure that you incorporate all the ingredients together. Once the mixing is done, transfer the batter into the macaroon molders.
