Lady Netizen Claims Self-Learning Module Contains Wrong Info About PH Flag
A lady netizen is claiming that a self-learning module allegedly contains wrong information about the Philippine flag.
A Facebook user named Cheche Pura has shared the photo of a self-learning module, which contains information regarding the Philippine flag. The photo is now circulating online and earned reactions from some netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that the self-learning module discusses the symbols and colors of the Philippine flag. The notes properly explained that meaning of the triangle, ray of sun, blue and red color.
The module explains that the three stars symbolizes the three islands in the Philippines, which is Luzon, Mindanao and Panay.
Unfortunately, Pura might think that Visayas is the appropriate word instead of Panay. However, most text books are using Panay as one of the three islands symbolized by the stars, according to the history.
