Provincial Admin Slain On Wednesday Afternoon In Isabela City, Basilan

ISABELA CITY – A senior provincial administrator assistant was recently killed by an unknown assailant in Isabela City, Basilan.

According to a report Philippine Star in their “As It Happens” section for the City of Zamboanga and the Zamboanga Peninsula posted at 1:42 PM on this day, the victim was identified as Musamman Amigos Hasadin.

Hasadin was 40 years of age and was a provincial administrator senior aide residing in Sumisip town in Basilan, according to Police Regional Office 9 (PRO) spokesperson Police Capt. Edwin Duco.

Police reports show that Hasadin was driving his motorcycle when a lone gunman shot Hasadin twice at around 4: 10 PM on October 8 (Wednesday) along Rizal Avenue, Barangay Doña Ramona.

Recovered from the crime scene were two empty shells that were said to be fired from a caliber .45 pistol and Hasadin’s body beside his motorcycle, based on the repohttps://www.philstar.com/happens/657rt.

The province of Basilan is part of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMM but Isabela City, which is in the province, belongs to Region 9, also known as the Zamboanga Peninsula.
