AUBREY MILES – Famous actress and businesswoman Aubrey Miles reveals her obsession to plants and shared the most expensive plant she bought.
During the quarantine, aside from Tik Tok videos and improving cooking skills, one productive hobby that many people have developed is being a “plantito” or “plantita”. Succulents, green plants, indoor plants, cactuses, and among other variants of plants is making people a lot of crazy. But one certified “plantita” that many know of is famous actress and businesswoman Aubrey Miles.
It’s been her hobby ever since to collect and grow plants and how much she takes care of them is something we see on her social media page. In any corners of their house, there is something green on it which makes her a true and certified plant lover.
She even has this habit of bringing out as much as she can for a single plant and one proof to that is her plants’ price range can go as high as Php 100,000.00 to Php 300,000.00 to which the most expensive she has ever purchased is the variegated billietiae.
She shared in an interview, “The most expensive one is the variegated billietiae. It’s the colorful one. I have this rare one na hindi lahat ng countries meron. The spiritus sancti, it’s also one of the most talked-about plants in the plant community- in the world.”
The actress admitted that some people think that she’s insane to pay much for a plant but for her, once she buy an expensive plant, she makes sure to propagate it. This way, she can sell it and eventually get her money back.
More and more celebrities are coming out now as proud plantitas like Jasmine Curtis, Kathryn Bernardo, and Angelica Panganiban but their love for plants is surely something more of a hobby, it is already a passion. And for Aubrey, it is already a kind of a self devotion. Taking care of plants is accordingly the same to having pets
