Here’s what Ivana Alawi said about being “pantasya ng bayan”
Actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi reacted to the moniker “pantasya ng bayan” that is being associated with her image.
Ivana is one of the female celebrities in the Philippines who loves to share her photos wearing her revealing swimwear. Aside from beautiful face, it is no doubt that many are admiring her figure, both men and women.
Because of that, she has been called “pantasya ng bayan” like other female celebrities who have the confidence to flaunt their curves on social media. However, the actress-vlogger said that she does not understand why the moniker is being associated with her.
“Honestly hindi ko siya maintindihan kung bakit kasi hindi naman kami masyado natutuwa sa sarili ko. I am being myself tapos biglang ang dami,” she said. Based on the article from ABS-CBN, it is just a normal thing for her to wear swimwear as she loves swimming and took photos of her wearing the revealing wardrobe.
She is also stunned by stories that there are couples who broke up because of her.
“May mga babae na nagme-message na parang na-appreciate nila ‘yung women empowerment. Nakakatuwa lang na I am just being myself and nagugustuhan ng tao which makes me very happy. But I don’t see myself as ‘Uy gayahin niyo ako guys.’ Hindi ako ganun eh,” Ivana Alawi shared.
The actress-vlogger also revealed that it was her mom who awakened her confidence in herself. Ivana said she had self-doubt before because of her failed relationships.
She asked herself why her past boyfriends left her. “So hindi yata ako maganda, hindi yata ako $@xy. Ang dami kong self-doubts kung bakit nangyayari ‘yun sa akin, bakit niloloko ako,” she said.
Then, Ivana Alawi’s mother told her to focus more on herself and develop her self-love.
