Here’s Why You Won’t Be Seeing Xyriel Manabat Any Time Soon

XYRIEL MANABAT – Former child star Xyriel Manabat explained why she won’t be doing any tv projects any time soon.

Former child star Xyriel Manabat has appeared in numerous Kapamilya shows, movies, and commercials. She started her career in the entertainment business in 2009 after joining “Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Idol.”

She is known for her iconic role in the series “Momay” and “100 Days to Heaven.” She also won several awards for her impressive acting skills.

Xyriel Manabat recently made headlines after standing up for herself following various incidents of harassment from netizens. The young actress described the comment in the photo she posted on her Instagram as “below the belt.”

Surely, lots of people want to see Xyriel Manabat back on their tv screens. Sadly, it won’t happen any time soon. In the last episode of Kapamilya Confessions, she explained why she won’t accept any tv projects right now.

The Kapamilya actress said she’s not quitting doing acting roles but for now, she wants to focus on her personal life and studies. She said, “Hindi ko pa po alam kasi as of now po, sobrang focused po ako sa personal life and sa school ko. So mahirap pong gumanap sa isang role na hindi po ako fully committed. Siyempre baka hindi ko po mabigyan ng justice ‘yung role. So du’n po tayo ‘pag nandun na lahat focus ko and lahat ng determination ko nandu’n na po sa show na ‘yun.”

Xyriel Manabat shared she wants to take up Civil Engineering when she goes to college. She also gave some advice to the students who are struggling with their online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Kasi kahit po ako nahihirapan. Siguro po lagi niyo pong tingnan ‘yung vision na nakikita niyo ‘yung sarili niyo for the future. Or lagi niyo po itatak sa puso’t-isip niyo ‘yung plano na meron kayo and ‘yung dream niyo para meron po kayong motivation.”

“And lagi niyo po itatak sa isip niyo sa bawat ginagawa niyo kung bakit niyo ginagawa ‘to and kahit bakit mahirap, kinakaya niyo po,” she added.
