Liza Soberano Confirms Receiving Offers from Other Networks Following ABS-CBN Shutdown
LIZA SOBERANO – The young Kapamilya actress revealed her decision after confirming that other networks got offers for her.
Undeniably, one of the unexpected things that unfolded this 2020 is what happened to ABS-CBN Network. It is one of the biggest broadcasting networks in the Philippines and is operating for decades already.
With regard to the matter, some side with the Kapamilya network while others expressed support on the decision of the House Franchise Committee. One thing certain is that most people are after those who will be losing their jobs.

More than 10,000 people were employed to ABS-CBN prior to the denial of its franchise bid. After the House Franchise Committee junked its bid for a fresh 25-year franchise, massive employee retrenchment took place.
Several celebrities also transferred to other networks as they are in need of job. Many Kapamilya stars confirmed receiving offers from other networks following the ABS-CBN shut down.
One of those who received offers from other networks is Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the actress confirmed it and she also revealed her decision.
Liza expressed that she is grateful for the offers but she is staying with the Kapamilya network. According to the young actress, she already told her manager, Ogie Diaz, about it.
Based on the report, Liza wants to stay and support the Kapamilya network amid these trying times. She stressed her respect to the network and her belief that the Kapamilyas will “be back and stronger and better than ever”.
Also, the young actress confirmed that she has an upcoming project with Star Cinema and her boyfriend, Enrique Gil. Their on-screen tandem, the LizQuen, is one of the most popular loveteams in the industry. She might be starting with the project early next year.
