Bong Revilla Shares Surprise Birthday ‘Salubong’
BONG REVILLA – Senator Bong Revilla danced to ‘budots‘ during his surprise birthday ‘salubong.’
Based on Filipino tradition, a birthday ‘salubong’ or Mañanita is performed after the middle of the night or early morning. It is supposed to awaken the celebrant to start the eating of cake.
Actor-turned-politician Bong Revilla turned 55 today, September 25. He shared how he had a surprise birthday ‘salubong’ during the quarantine.
Bong Revilla received so much love from his whole family during his birthday. He showed off the cake he received and his birthday video tribute.
In the video, the senator’s family compiled some clips from his iconic movies and pictures. His kids also shared heartfelt messages for him. He is obviously loved by his family and friends.
In the last part of the video, he danced ‘budots’ with his family. He danced the comical dance routine during his senatorial campaign. Lots of netizens criticized his campaign video.
