Bianca Gonzales Thanks Liza & Julia For Standing Up Against Mistreatment
BIANCA GONZALES – Recently, Bianca Gonzales took to Twitter and gave thanks to Liza Soberano and Julia Barretto.
Recently, the two actresses were being harassed on social media. Soberano was being targeted by malicious comments online while Barretto was tagged as pregnant.
Abusive and nasty comments on social media accounts of celebrities have been prevalent throughout the years. But, because no action has been done against them, it felt like it was breeding a culture of normalizing such malicious language towards others.
As such, Bianca Gonzales lauded Soberano and Barretto for standing up and being brave as they took legal action against people who posted abusive comments about them. This sets a precedent that the culture of normalizing malicious intent on social media is about to come to an end.
Thank you @lizasoberano and @barrettojulia for being brave and standing up for what you believe in, showing other women that you can fight for your boundaries, and there is a difference between a negative comment and an abusive comment. We stand by you.
Recently, veteran broadcaster Jay Sonza posted on social media that Julia Barretto was pregnant with Gerald Anderson’s child. However, Julia and her camp immediately denied the accusations.
Adding to this, instead of posting an apology, Sonza asserted that somebody admitted that Julia was in fact, pregnant. He added that he would just take back is “happy greetings”.
So, because of the Fake News Sonza was spreading, Barretto decided to formally file a complaint against him.
