Who is the source of Jay Sonza on the alleged pregnancy of Julia Barretto?
The source of former journalist Jay Sonza regarding the allegation stating that actress Julia Barretto is pregnant is protected by “Sotto”.
Sonza claimed in his Facebook post that his “neighbor” was the one who spilled the tea that allegedly Julia is pregnant with the child of her rumored boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
However, Julia and Gerald both denied this with their posts about “fake news”. The Barretto family also rallied behind the actress while friends in the entertainment industry of the actor showed support for him.
Despite the denial, Jay Sonza urged that there was someone who admitted this but he did not divulge the name of his source. As Julia and her mom, Marjorie denied the pregnancy rumors, the latter’s denial of her child with former politician Recom Echiverri was recalled.
The online community has mixed reactions about the “revelation” of Sonza. Some slammed him for spreading “fake news” while some expressed that they believe that Julia is pregnant.
On the other hand, there were also those said that the former journalist should reveal his source so that it will be known if he is really saying the truth about the actress.
Based on the article from Pang-Masa, the source of Jay Sonza is being protected by the “Sotto Law” or the RA 11458.

This means that Sonza has the right not to reveal the identity of his “source”. However, entertainment columnist Ed de Leon is questioning why it is being stressed by Sonza that Julia is pregnant when she and Gerald haven’t confirmed their relationship yet.
