PDEA Arrested 2 Individuals, Retrieves P136 Million Illegal Drugs
PDEA – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents arrests 2 individuals and retrieves P136 million worth of illegal drugs.
According to a report from Philippine Star, the suspects, identified as Mangie Sotolombo, aged 49, and Carlos Vallente, aged 27 were taken into police custody.
The two suspects were arrested in a drug sting operation along Macapagal Avenue in Parañaque City at past 5 PM, according to a report from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Police said that Sotolombo and Vallente yielded drugs that were stuffed in Chinese tea packs.
The suspects are currently under police custody, based on the report. They are currently being charged for violation of Republic Act (RA) No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
Meanwhile, a toughie LTO enforcer sold illegal drugs in the street of Baguio City.

The LTO officer was arrested by narcotics agents in a sting operation in Suello Village, Baguio City. He was rumored to be a bully in the area who usually brandishing his firearm.
He was arrested after selling a packet of illegal drugs to a poseur buyer. He, however resisted before he eventually surrendered when the back-up came with assault rifles ready to engage.
The LTO officer was a member of the Flying Squad of the Land Transportation Office-Baguio.
