Lolit Solis says sorry to Heaven Peralejo
Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis expressed her apology to actress Heaven Peralejo due to her write-up about the “ayuda” issue.
On Saturday, Manay Lolit shared a post on Instagram stating that Heaven asked money from Senator Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao gave P100,000 to her. Because of this, several netizens expressed negative comments against the actress who happened to be the ex-girlfriend of Jimuel Pacquiao.
Heaven’s manager, Ogie Diaz, as well as Jimuel and Jinkee, defended the actress against the allegation. Following this, the entertainment columnist said sorry to the young actress.
In her recent Instagram post, Lolit Solis said that she is admitting her mistake and that she immediately jumped to the conclusion. It is because of the blind item that she read from showbiz site.
“Hindi ko kilala si Heaven Peralejo, nabasa ko ang blind item ni Fashion Police, nagtanong tanong hanggang may nagsabi na si Heaven at mama Jinkee Pacquiao ang nasa blind item,” Manay Lolit explained.
She also said that Jinkee texted her to clarify this issue. The columnist also said that she is shamed that the Pacquiao family was dragged into the issue because of her assumption.
Manay Lolit also apologized to the mother of Heaven Peralejo. “Kay Heaven at sa nanay niya na nagsabi na 73 years old na ako bakit pa ako nagbabalita ng ganito, tama ka Mommy, dapat nga siguro na pag may blind item pabayaan ko na. Sa nagawa ko , SORRY,” she said.
The columnist also stressed that P100,000 is just a small amount for the people involved in the issue, that is why she is wondering why this became a big issue.
To recall, Lolit Solis also received bashing when she lambasted Janine Gutierrez for the comment of the actress against Senator Bong Revilla. Then, she was also criticized for writing about the alleged “snubbing” issue that happened between Alex Gonzaga, Ken Chan, and Rita Daniella.
