8 Person Arrested for Falsifying Swab Test Results and Travel Authority
Manila police raided a spot on Mendoza St. where 8 people were arrested for falsifying swab test results and travel authority.
According to the report of ABS-CBN News, police raided a spot on Mendoza St. on Monday. in Sta. Cruz, Manila which is said to be a factory of fake documents. The store was supposed to be selling motorcycle accessories.
However, when authorities take look deeper inside, a room was hidden with computers and printers. As a result, an entrapment operation was carried out in which a policeman pretended to buy a travel authority, which should only be obtained from the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The said document costs about P500. Eight suspects were arrested who were still making various kinds of documents such as rapid and swab test results, NBI and police clearance, transcript of records from the school, and documents from the Land Transportation Office such as OR / Vehicle CR and driver’s license.
According to Manila Police District Station 3 Commander LtCol. John Guiagui, there were allegations of illegal activity in the area so they tracked it down. The suspects will be charged with falsification and the use of the falsified document.
Earlier, a woman in Sta. Cruz was arrested for making fake documents such as swab and rapid test from the Manila Health Department. She is also making fake IATF IDs, quarantine passes, as well as travel authorities of the Joint Task Force COVID-19 Shield.
