Manila Police District Station 3 raided a place in Sulu Cor. Remegio Street where the entrapment operation was carried out. They found computers, printers, and various documents printed by the suspect.

Fake Travel Authority

These include fake IATF IDs, quarantine passes, as well as travel authorities of the Joint Task Force COVID-19 Shield that should only be obtained from the police. There are also medical certificates using the names of some clinics and hospitals.

Most are said to be the results of a swab test and rapid test from the Manila Health Department. Police Lt. Col. John Guiagui, chief of the MPD station, said they tracked down the place after they have accosted a person carrying fake travel authority in their station.

However, when double-checked, they found out that they have not given any travel authority to the said person. As a result, police asked and here, he pointed out where the fake document was made.

According to the owner of the fake document, there is a charge of P300 for each document to be printed on the post. Based on the evidence obtained, it is frequented by customers from neighboring cities.

The suspect defended himself, customers only scanned the documents and she only prints it. The case of falsification and use of falsified document against him is being pushed through.

The store has been closed and the police are still investigating if the woman still has an accomplice. Guiagui reminded that such services should not be enjoyed because non-compliance with protocols will only bring danger to the community.
