Sharon Cuneta’s Pet “Cookie” Admitted in the Hospital
SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar asked for prayers for her little poodle, Cookie, who is now in the hospital.
Undeniably, a dog is really man’s best friend. It has the ability to connect with humans emotionally and is known for being loyal to his master. But for people who love dogs, they are not the master but the furparents of these furbabies.
One of the Filipino celebrities who is a furparent is Megastar Sharon Cuneta. She has a lot of dogs at home including Shih Tzus and Poodles. Her husband, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, also loves dogs.

The children of Sen. Pangilinan and the Megastar grew up with these dogs around them. In fact, these furbabies are also part of their family pictorials for certain events.
KC Concepcion, the eldest daughter of Sharon with Gabby Concepcion and whom Sen. Pangilinan also treats like his own, is also a furmom. She has two pomeranians named “Churro” and “Chica”.
Sharon and her family have this “race night” that gathers them in one room to watch televised race competitions. These special nights do not only gather the couple and the kids but as well as their furbabies.
In a recent video posted on Instagram, Sharon Cuneta could be heard talking to her dog. She also mentioned that Cookies, her little poodle, is in the hospital because of a liver problem. She’s asking for prayers for her furbaby.
According to the Megastar, Twinkie, her red poodle, could not stop looking for Cookies and is “distressed” over not finding her fur-sibling. Here’s the Instagram post of the actress-singer:
