PAGASA – Habagat To Bring Cloudy Skies, Isolated Rains Over Parts Of PH This September 4, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day, September 4, 2020 (Friday).

The latest weather forecast from the state bureau says that the southwest monsoon or habagat will be affecting extreme northern Luzon on this day.

Accoreding to GMA News, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms.

The bureau warned that that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA also said that it continues to monitor Typhoon Haishen, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Haishen was last spotted at about 1,440 kilometers east of extreme norther Luzon. It is packed with maximum sustained winds of 165 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 205 kilometers per hour.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, northern and central Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northwest to west direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving southwestward  while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to southwest direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
