Mel Francisco speaks about John Regala and their controversial father and son unresolved issue.
JOHN REGALA – Former actor Mel Francisco ends whatever connection he has with “son” John Regala and reacted to his current situation.
In a very rare chance, former actor Mel Francisco emerged breaking his silence over the claims of his “son” John Regala. To recall, he admitted in a program that he is his son but finally speaking about this, he revealed that he made such revelation against his will. Based on his recent interview, it was out of intense controversy before that he claimed the action star as his son but he believed that he’s not. He never felt that “lukso ng dugo” whenever he’s around.

And now, to end everything that connects them, he told not to drag his name to any interview just to gain sympathy from the public. John previously disowned father for he might still be alive but in his heart, he is already dead. Mel, on his part, also disowned his “son” saying, “He’s not even my son. Never ever naging anak ko siya.”
He opened up about their past controversy as to how his career went down after admitting that he is his son while he soared as an actor. He would even receive accusations of being irresponsible because he was not able to give them assistance. But this is his reason, “Paano ko sila susuportahan, hindi ko alam na buntis nanay niya? Ni hindi ko alam na nanganak ang nanay niya. Ni hindi ko alam na nagkaroon ng John Regala. Nalaman ko lang na John Regala ‘yan when he entered showbiz.”
He even lambasted John’s current issues indicating that he’s just acting so as to gain sympathy. Mel noted he was ever since inconsistent over his statement and him being “bulol” because sometimes, he can talk straight and there are times he’s stuttering.
Mel left him this message as per PEP, “Kapag ikaw nanloloko ng tao, kung ikaw gumagawa ng kung anu-ano, ang affected yung pamilya mo, di ba? Hindi lang naman siya. Nadamay ako kasi sabi niya tatay niya ako—sabi niya.”
